Samantha & Ben’s Collingwood Wedding at
The Craft & Co
Getting Ready
Samantha and Ben each had their own crew as they got ready. Sam laughed with her bridesmaids while slipping into her dress. Ben shared quiet moments with his groomsmen before straightening his tie. There was a warm buzz in the air—a mix of nerves and excitement. I love capturing those early smiles and last-minute jitters.
Ceremony at The Craft & Co
They chose The Craft & Co in Collingwood for their ceremony. The Maker’s Bar is light-filled with high ceilings and brick walls—industrial, yet inviting. Sam walked down the aisle, her veil catching the soft light. Ben's expression was priceless when he saw her. They exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest friends.
Bridal Portraits in Collingwood
After the "I do," we headed into the streets around Smith Street for portraits. Collingwood's graffiti lanes and old brick walls made for moody, cinematic backdrops. We played with soft smoke bombs and strobing light. Sam and Ben glowed—walking hand-in-hand, stealing kisses in alleyways. This part of the day is always fun and feels so spontaneous.
Wild Reception Back at The Craft & Co
The night kicked off back at The Craft & Co’s Maker’s Hall—a space with vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and a killer dance floor. Guests toasted with craft gin and local beers brewed onsite. Speeches were honest and funny. Soon the DJ spun upbeat R&B and Latin tunes—guests welcomed the party energy. Sam and Ben laughed, danced, and celebrated way into the night.
Why It Stands Out
The venue’s raw industrial charm mixed with warmth from big windows and exposed beams.
Collingwood adds urban character—awesome for portraits.
The flow from ceremony to reception was smooth—no awkward venue changes.
Good natural light throughout the day makes my job easier and gives that timeless look.
