This is Emily and Kenny, the sweetest two. This is us sneaking out for a bit from their family packed tea ceremony wedding party. There’s only like 10 minutes of sun light left so we were haul assing in heels and slacks to get to location. I remember turning the corner to the open rooftop and seeing the sky burning. This has to be one of thee best sunset I’ve ever seen. And was so fortunate to be hanging out with the trendiest girl ever with the cutest updo ever.

Just a little something fun me and my buddies whipped up. I’ve never shot in a studio setting before so this was a like a brand new exciting world for me and I loved it. I went into photography without “formal” art school training so I didn’t get to do these types of shoots and mingle with models and what not but when you have a couple this good looking who needs them.

The thing with Melbourne weather is that it can be 'sunny and beautiful' one moment then raining the next and when it rains, it pours. That's exactly what happened this day. Thanks Melbourne ==". We only had 15 minutes of beautiful, blissful light during the bridal session before the storm clouds came rolling through, before the chilling winds started howling, before the sudden torrential raindrops started falling but that didn’t matter. None of it mattered because all I needed was Emma and John, the kindest, happiest, warmest two souls to be in love. We could shoot in a dark rinky-dink car park and it would still be magical.

I love Chinese Weddings! They just don’t stop! There’s so much to do it’s just an endless day of excitement and happiness.
The day started with the traditional Wedding Games where Brad must prove to the bridesmaids that he is worthy to marry Lydia. Thankfully he had the help of his groomsmen because there was a boat load of challenges he had to overcome.
Then off to ceremony to get married! The wedding was held at Gum Gully Farm so we got to hang out with a whole petting zoo of animals; ducks, deers, baby goats, chickens, just anything that was walking about.
Once the sun had set though and all the formalities were done it was time partay! And yo Lydia had moves for days!
