The Modern Bride
Okay first of all how. fucking. beautiful. is Kasey! This girl has eyes for daaaaaaaaays.
So this was a fun, little collaboration I had the amazing chance to be a part of. The theme was Modern Bride and geez whizz everyone, please, PLEASE let this trend happen. If ya looking for some wedding inspo start right here. Everything about this look was so refreshing and just to die for. The dress, the jewellery, the hair, the make up, just everything. I was swooning the whole shoot. Also I take no credit for this look, this was all the stunning work of Jeanette, Justine, Kasey, Vanee and Luci or as I like to call them The Dream Team.
Before this shoot I hadn’t taken any photos in months so it was such a phenomenal feeling to have created something again, and to have done it with such talented people as well was just the cherry on top. This was a much needed boost.

Julie & Michael // Mornington Sunset Beach Engagement
Yo this was such an amazing session! The wind, her hair, her dress - I friggin loooooved her dress, the way they flowed and dance, just everything was magical! And that sunset, my god, you couldn’t have asked for a better one. 2020 needs to bring back summer already! Honestly I could hang out with these two cuties forever, the sweetest two.
Astrophotography // Earth
If you ever wondered how I got into photography it’s this. Before I started shooting weddings and couples I was obsessed, OBSESSED with astrophotography. Like to get decent photo of the stars so many things have to be perfect and not only that, they had to be perfect all at once. No clouds, no moon, no light pollution and if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere and wanna capture the Milkyway you gotta wait till the winter months before that bad boy shows up. All the shots I’ve ever taken of the universe above us were out of pure luck and now looking back at them I realise and appreciate how lucky I was to have captured these.
Tatooine Sunset // Mornington Peninsula
With everything going on in the world right now I’mma brb out off this planet and hang out with these two sweethearts. We’re just gonna chill and watch sunsets til this whole thing blows over.
Desert Dance Party
So one of the biggest thing that I always advocate for, and super thankful to have in my life, is to have a great support system. For me that support system are my close friends. It’s so important for me to have to a person or group of people in my life that I can talk to about anything and everything. Someone to unload all my thoughts and feelings, all my angst and triumphs, all fears and joy without any walls or notion of rejection or embarrassment. It’s not even about problem solving just having someone there to listen does a world of help for my mental state.

It’s so important for me to have to a person or group of people in my life that I can talk to about anything and everything. Someone to unload all my thoughts and feelings, all my angst and triumphs, all fears and joy without any walls or notion of rejection or embarrassment. It’s not even about solving problems, just having someone there to listen does a world of help for my mental state. Without them all my achievement would mean a lot less, my trails and tribulations would have been far more difficult to overcome and my days would be a lot more lonely and filled with pent up emotions… And so I hope you, and any one else that reads these blogs of mine, have someone in your life that let’s you feel at home. Remember to thank them, to cherish them and to tell them how much they mean to you.
Anyway enough of that sappy stuff lemme tell you more about this rad, sun filled adventure I had last summer with these two buddies of mine. So with wedding season in full swing I don’t get the chance to focus as much on my creative side. Hence whenever I get the chance to go out on these adventures I let loose and try anything and everything. There’s always new shooting styles I want to play with, certain lighting condition I want to practice and I just want to have fun shooting, doing whatever and not have to worry about it being successful or not. This goes back to what I was talking about strong support group because having my dear friends Victor and Xinyu adventure with me and support my passion means the world to me. Without them on this adventure it would have been a very boring road trip and I wouldn’t have learnt a thing. It also helps that these guys are super good looking and by far my favourite fake couple. So this day’s objective was to do a basic travel blog through GIFs and stills, and hopefully I’ll be able to do more of these personal blogs. One of my 2020 themes/new years resolution is to share more about my life and yeah hope you guys enjoy.
PEACE.
MAIA WEDDING // Melbourne
emma + John
The thing with Melbourne weather is that it can be 'sunny and beautiful' one moment then raining the next and when it rains, it pours. That's exactly what happened this day. Thanks Melbourne ==". We only had 15 minutes of beautiful, blissful light during the bridal session before the storm clouds came rolling through, before the chilling winds started howling, before the sudden torrential raindrops started falling but that didn’t matter. None of it mattered because all I needed was Emma and John, the kindest, happiest, warmest two souls to be in love. We could shoot in a dark rinky-dink car park and it would still be magical.
